I am disappointed vino is now incompatible with Lubuntu, apparently due
to an arbitrary decision or possibly a simple oversight. With respect,
"workaround by installing different software" could be said of any bug.

Note: before doing the workaround, my Realtek 8821AE wifi module did
work and would connect to the network, despite the high rate of errors
going to the log. After implementing the workaround, no more errors but
the wifi doesn't work (it can see the network but won't connect to it).
