Power-Off_Retract_Count did not increase, is this mean the HDD park
perfectly before power off??

erm.. is ok already the Power-Off_Retract_Count wont increase any
more but the sound "tick" still present wired

when i shutdown my laptop it still have a "PARK" sound
after apply the fix it wont work . too
I'. using Lenovo Y400
HDD is Western D 80GB SATA
this is the fix i apply
Simply write a file at "/etc/rc0.d/S00hdd-shutdown-workaround" which
includes this two lines:
#!/bin/sh
echo 1 > /sys/class/scs
can any one suggest a ULTIMATE and detailed solution, because i see a lot of
comment here and i can't understand at all
