I just got into this same issue. My system is;

So, before i install the libvirt-bin, I remember I just messed up my
locale settings. I didn't notice that
I been using lot of linux desktops over the last five years and its been
really awesome. Across all of them, unity is one which i think that has
done tremendous work. Foe me, its like way over the Microsoft windows
GUI and its features. For a instance, isn't it that cool that

Can't start virtual machines
I was having the same exact issue with 'qxl' 'cirrus' driver on kvm
guest. However, get resolved by changing the video to 'vga' on virt-
manager.
Still looking for a fix for 'qxl' driver.?

Same issue on my Ubuntu 14.10.
Since the installation of 'nfs-common' this errors started to appear on
installation of each package with apt-get.

Same Issue; tested on fresh installed Ubuntu 14.10 and no surprise,
connection drop after a while...
NOTE: i did the same exact way as explained by the above to load the
module for chip 8192. When i do `lsmod | grep 8192` i can see it has
been loaded. But the problem continuous.

No prob bro, i was able to connect it only for a once and at that period
no CPU issue detected. But as i alredy mentioned, it has some problem to
connect to an AP. I tried several time with two APs, but no luch. It was
only one time i could connect.

For kernel Ver 3.16 and later, i found some workin solution only to install the
kernel module. All you have to do is just download the GIT repo
https://github.com/lwfinger/mt7630
and do
$ cd into the extracted dir
$ sudo make
$ sudo make install
Eventhough it installs the kernel module, it
with the latest kernel ver (3.16), kernel module for Mediatec 7630 load
automatically at boot, but still there is the High CPU usage issue
exist...
- Need some further tweaks - Canoniacal team.!

isn't available on the download-and-install versions!

anyone who could not succeed with $ ./load.sh, try with what i suggested

01. extract the MT7630E_Wi-Fi_BT_Source
Problem still present with my HP 440g1.
As said, upgraded the kernel to 3.13.0-29-generic, but no Luck.!!!
