Why is this NOT the default functionality of apt? I realise some people
still dont have Internet Connection capable of handling parallel
connections. But that no-longer applies to the majority!
Please either add the functionality to apt, or include apt-fast in the
repository's.

Confirmed on Debian Sid...
This must be due to a change in SSL... im going to try and revert to a
older SSL from intrepid or Hardy to verify(Hope it doesnt break any

i agree, there also should be a small GUI utility for Setting Primary
Java/Flash versions. i use GCJ personally for small things, but when i
need to use the JDK, i cant set it to use the Java-6 non-free version as
easy.

Im sorry, im detaching from this now. I switched from i386 to i32 X86_64
Architecture and this no longer applies.
I found the issue was related to .distcc was not empty during the update,
so it could not rm, to update.
