I had exact same issue on ubuntu 20.04 with same system "lenovo yoga slim7 14IIL05" Putting "i915.enable_psr=0" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT fixed issues such as rendering, screen tearing, delaying.
