Public bug reported:
After a recent update of pulseaudio and related packages to
13.99.1-1ubuntu3.8 on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, audio via HDMI output became
crackling and distorted, rendering my monitor speakers unusable. This is
particularly frustrating because I cannot seem to roll back the update
Just wanted to confirm that I had this bug with 4.99.4 on Ubuntu 20.04
as well. Fixed it by apt purging that version and installing the version
5.4.2 binary from calibre-ebook.com/download_linux

Okular does not open file in tab
Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS
Okular Snap Version 1.10.0
Upon opening a pdf in Okular, then opening another PDF from Zotero, the
expected behavior is that Okular opens the new document in a new tab
(when enabled in settings). For me, this is not happing. Instead, Okular
opens each PDF
Daniel I successfully ran the dpkg process as you illustrated but it
then failed to boot, so now I must manually selected the 5.4 version in
order to get to this boot. Is there a way to reverse that?

True Resolution : 3840x2160 at 60Hz (DisplayPort) ,3840x2160 at 30Hz (HDMI)
Some while ago I was researching this issue and found a specification
page on the ASUS website which showed two formats for declaring the
frame rate, one
Thanks for your work
I just bought and tried a new 4K hdmi cable, with no change. I noticed
that the monitor has TWO inputs, HDMI and HDMI/MHL (it had been plugged
into HDMI) but switching this to HDMI/MHL gave no result.
I am using MATE but the same issue occurs in several flavours of Ubuntu
Done. Thanks
