[Bug 32457] Re: [Gutsy] [Regression] gnome-screensaver activates while playing SDL games

2007-11-05 Thread livingtarget
I think upstream isn't aware of this bug, maybe someone should open a
new bug. Probably to the gnome-screensaver developers.

If you still have kernel 2.6.22-9 then try that and see if it works, if
it does then yes it's the same problem.

[Bug 133672] Re: xsane crashes on open

2007-08-23 Thread livingtarget
Happens for me too with a HP psc 1250 all in one. Same message for me.
Seems to only happen when the device is actually connected. But most
likely a bug in xsane. Should we report it upstream maybe?

[Bug 84931] Re: Various icons don't have a 16x16 icon size

2007-04-04 Thread livingtarget
I disagree with that statement, if it would be a bug it would be a bug
in GTK rather than GAIM because these different icons exist all over
different Gnome applications.

[Bug 84931] Re: New folder icon is huge in Nautilus' File and folder context menus

2007-04-03 Thread livingtarget
Another icon that needs a 16x16 size is the report bug icon again in
Nautilus. That one is less noticeable because they all have different
sizes/styles in that menu. Nautilus - Help

[Bug 32457] Re: gnome-screensaver activates while playing SDL games

2007-03-29 Thread livingtarget
Same goes for Feisty, I'm sure this didn't happen in Edgy. I play UT2004
quite often and now the screensaver kicks in, it's really annoying
UT2004 flashes for a couple of seconds and I got back into UT2004
(because im hitting the keyboard + moving the mouse pretty much
constantly). It's pretty annoying. Right now I'm doing sudo killall
gnome-screensaver because it really is a nuisance.

[Bug 94685] Re: icon size inconsistency

Here's a screenshot attached.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: human-icon-theme

In nautilus the create folder icon is larger than the other icons in
it's menu. The Create Folder icon can be found in the File menu and
  the right click menu.

The same may be true for the report bug icon, but it's less noticeable
because they all have different sizes/styles in that menu. It can be
found in most gnome apps in the Help menu.

- I would post a screenshot, but it just so happens the print screen
- command doesn't work if you have a menu open. That's for another bug
- though.

[Bug 80222] xine-lib does not support ogg theora video

2007-01-17 Thread livingtarget
Public bug reported:

The edgy version does not seem to come with ogg theora video compiled in
it.

How to reproduce: Try to open a ogg video (for example the mandela video
in /usr/share/example-content) with totem-xine.

How to fix: Compile xine-lib with libtheora-dev and you will now be able
to watch ogg video with xine.

IMPORTANT: Gxine will also need to be recompiled. Xine-lib will only fix
totem-xine. I'd rather not open another bug for gxine as these are
closely related.

[Bug 72143] Re: please revert startup sounds

2006-12-07 Thread livingtarget
Just my 2 cents added:

Each time I hear the rattle at the end I think my cdrom/hard drive is
about to explode. That sound isn't healthy. Reminds me far too much of
something mechanical breaking down. Maybe that's just me, but I thought
I'd mention it.
