Same thing here, didnt take long after i installed and rebooted. 2 mins
and those lights flashed also the PC completely was unresponsive to
anything. I dont have a usb wireless though, mine is a dlink wireless
PCI. This occured in the hardy heron beta

Forgot to mention, I'm using the new gutsy (ubuntu) not upgrading from
fiesty (and I thought I would just check for updates), not upgrading
from fiesty.

I tried to do an update this morning (7 hrs ago) and it failed checking
for updates. Then it did remove some of the repositories like main and
recommended etc. When this gets resolved, will it automatically enable
or will every user need to know to go back in there and enable them
again.
