[Bug 1348344] [NEW] Blank screen after wake up from suspend by lid close

2014-07-24 Thread mak ersky
Public bug reported:

Opened as suggested in comment #152 on bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1283938.

After suspending system by lid close X does not wake up. System is
running, I can switch to getty (e.g. ALT-F1) but going to X gives me
blank screen. CTRL-ALT-Backspace reboots X and all returns to normal
(except that all unsaved work is lost). This problem does not occur when
I manualy suspend system using proper menu.

2012-07-28 Thread mak ersky
Public bug reported:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. connect to remote system using ssh with enabled x-forwarding
2. execute torsocks any x application

What is the expected output?
Application should run on local system display using remote system tor proxy.

What do you see instead?
In case of DISPLAY=localhost:10.0
(app_name:pid): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: localhost:10.0

In case of DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:10.0
libtorsocks(pid): connect: Connection is to a local address (127.0.0.1), may be
a TCP DNS request to a local DNS server so have to reject to be safe. Please
report a bug to http://code.google.com/p/torsocks/issues/entry if this is
preventing a program from working properly with torsocks.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
torsocks-1.2-1

[Bug 852373] Re: Pressing ALT-Space keyboard shortcut for Activated window menu, window title bar hide and can't be activated by same key pressed.

2011-09-29 Thread mak ersky
One more - I can access window menu by right clicking the window title bar and
it doesn't crash my WM. So the problem is not with the menu itself. For now
I've just disabled menu item from my title bar (no accidentally clicks) by
changing /apps/metacity/general/button_layout key (in gconf-editor) from
menu:minimize,maximize,close
to
:minimize,maximize,close

The same here. I can reproduce this bug by hitting alt-space or by
clicking on window menu. Title bars from all windows disappear. I need
to reload window manager (using Compiz Fusion Icon program) to recover
from this situation.
