[Bug 637347] [NEW] Banshee not responding in Ubuntu 10.10 Beta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: banshee I am running the recent beta version of Ubuntu 10.10 and try to use Banshee (1.7.5) from the Ubuntu repositories. Banshee worked quite well until I started my computer two days ago, wanting to listen to some music. When I tried to start Banshee at this time, the main window appears, but it does not respont. The program seems to simply freeze. The window gets gray after a few seconds and that's it. Apport does not offer to submit a bug report, so I do this manually. [Bug 637492] [NEW] Brasero refuses to create an audio cd
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero Since I installed the beta version of Ubuntu 10.10, problems with Brasero seem to occur more often. Most of them have been fixed, but this one is a rather new one, I suppose: When I try to create an audio CD (No matter if I start Brasero from a menu or select the Burn to CD-option in Rhythmbox), brasero does nothing but eject the CD from the drive. I tried several empty CDs and all of them have been ejected by Brasero when I tried to crate an audio CD. I will attach the burn-log Brasero created after my attempts and hope it will help you somehow. Quite similar one here, apart from the fact that apport does not offer to submit an error report. After I start banshee, it just greys out and I can't do anything, for the program does not respond. Furthermore brasero refused to burn an audio CD and instead tells me to install cdrdao, which I have already installed. I'm using the very recent version of Ubuntu Lucid and that bug also occurred on my system when I tried to play JamLegend. The only possible solution was to install OSS4. However, this is just a simple workaround and I want my PulseAudio back as soon as possible.
