[Bug 2062943] Re: Text select on Ubunut 24.04 doest not copy to clipboard for system use
Yeah, this works just fine in 22.04. It seems to be broken in 24.04. The full LTS release was official today and it's still not working. I'll see if I can get help in Terminator's new home. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2062943 Title: Text select on Ubunut 24.04 doest not copy to clipboard for system use To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/terminator/+bug/2062943/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 2062943] [NEW] Text select on Ubunut 24.04 doest not copy to clipboard for system use
Public bug reported: On the beta release of Ubuntu 24.04. DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=24.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=noble DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu Noble Numbat (development branch)" (on the up-to-date package upgrade) The select to copy text that works with previous releases of Ubuntu does not copy text to the clipboard for use in other applications. It does work within terminator. The right-click -> works but one of the features that makes Terminator great is the ability to quickly copy text to the clipboard to paste to a browser or IDE, etc, isn't working. Hopefully it gets fixed before 24.04 gets a full release next week. ** Affects: terminator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2062943 Title: Text select on Ubunut 24.04 doest not copy to clipboard for system use To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/terminator/+bug/2062943/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 601773] [NEW] strange graphics problems after switching to Lucid
Public bug reported: I used Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty for 6 months and played games such as Secret Maryo Chronicles (aka SMC) and used programs like Google Earth. They all ran fine using the default graphics for my ATI Radeon X200 (integrated) graphics card. I recently installed (not upgraded, I did a clean install) 10.04 Lucid Lynx. I've tried playing SMC and using Google Earth with the default driver. SMC is not playable to to graphics lag and Google Earth renders horribly. Somehow everything worked nicely on Jaunty with the default driver but on Lucid with it's default driver things don't work well. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ati radeon x200 -- strange graphics problems after switching to Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/601773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 423777] [NEW] Firefox causes System freeze on allowing Scripts with NoScript when webpage has Flash content
Public bug reported: i already posted this issue on the NoScript Forum here http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7t=2295start=30 and in the end i was suggested to ask for help here, after posting one in the answers sections and no replies so far i thought it might be a bug, here it is: i run ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid ibex) have ff 3.0.13 installed with noscript 1.9.8.7 extension. first of all i have to say i never had this kind of problems with ff or ns, before i was running kubuntu 8.04 (hardy heron) and it all went well, i didnt upgrade to ubuntu, i formatted the hard drive, so this is a fresh install. every time i enter a webpage with flash content i encounter the same issue: before i thought it was a flash-plugin problem, then i tried out all of them (proprietary, nonfree, gnash) nothing changed, of course before to install one another i was removing all traces of the previous one as the procedure explains. if accessing youtube.com (e.g.) and temporary allowing youtube.com and ytmg.com (in order to make the page re-load without noscript blocking flash, firefox freezes,it gets stuck and i can do nothing, cannot click anywhere at all (have to enter tt1 and kill the process from bash). in case i allow scripts globally before to enter youtube.com, or if i allow the all page then i can watch the video clips without any problem. i was told the problem could have been the only other extension i have instlled on ff (Ubuntu Firefox Modifications) then I disabled that add- on like you suggested (I didn't even know it was there) restart ff but nothing changed, same thing. i have an Nvidia 9600 GT correctly installed with proprietary drivers (version 180) automatically found by ubuntu, plus I tried both with Compiz or without it (with metacity of course), in case Compiz was the problem. here http://paste.ubuntu.com/261489/ is the output if running firefox from a terminal, dmesg doesn't seem to report any output about this issue. if there's anything else you need to know or you want me to try out please let me know, i'll be checking this thread every day, i love ubuntu as much as i like using ff with noscript, so i really hope someone is going to be able to help me thanks, max ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: firefox flash noscript ubuntu -- Firefox causes System freeze on allowing Scripts with NoScript when webpage has Flash content https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/423777 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
