When importing pictures from a camera to ubuntu f-stop usually shows a
strange exception message as shown in the attachment. The problem

1. a screenshot of the error dialog
2. a log of f-spot-import as a txt file

Ive just installed GG on my parents PC. They got really excited with
Ubuntu but after a few days complaining about random freezes :(
Its AMD with an ATI card. Can provide more info if needed.

thanks for the info! is there any temporary solution for this? the thing
is, as i said, it it my parents PC and i ve been trying to convince them
to use ubuntu instead of windows. the bug is kinda annoying thing for
begginers like them coz they get totally confused where to click.

having exactly the same problem, not sure whether related to alt+tab
switching or something else.
im using gutsy with intel 915GM graphics card. adding
Option AddARGBVisuals True
Option AddARGBGLXVisuals True
to my xorg.conf doesnt help (as i uderstood it works only for nvidia
users).
after
i tried to look for a package which needs to be translated but without
any success :(
any help would be appreciated
