[Bug 363546] [NEW] Error when importing pictures from a camera
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot Hi, When importing pictures from a camera to ubuntu f-stop usually shows a strange exception message as shown in the attachment. The problem appears almost every time I want to import new picture from my camera to my pc. The error dialog appears only sometimes, while importing certain files (but not all of them). The files are completely new (new pictures and videos) so they are not symlinks or anything like this. Im using Ubuntu Intrepid. I will attach some more information in the following posts. Im attaching 4 files: 1. a screenshot of the error dialog 2. a log of f-spot-import as a txt file 3. listing of the source directory on my camera 4. listing of the destination directory on my pc The use-case is pretty simple: the problem appears almost every time I want to import new picture from my camera to my pc. The error dialog appears only sometimes, while importing certain files (but not all of them). The files are completely new (new pictures and videos) so they are not symlinks or anything like this. Please let me know if you need any more info.
