When I hover mouse over the rhythmbox icon usually it displays song
info. When a new song starts also shows a notification (in a different
layout on ubuntu).
But when I start VirtualBox (using the non ose version) rhtythmbox stops

I had to change from gnome to xfce since gnome is unusable. (locks every ~10
mouse clicks)
Now on xfce it still happens, but the rate has gone from 10 mouse clicks to
maybe 1-2 times a day.

I can confirm this bug on updated 9.10, even using only the live CD, nothing
additional installed.
On my system is SO easy to make it happen. Just open any window (terminal for
example) and select titlebar to move it a little several times, it will happen
on 3rd or 4th time.

I don't have the 8.10 installed here at home, only at the office so what I did
was boot a live CD here on my laptop and confirmed the bug, logged out and in 3
times and confirmed the bug.

I also confirm this in Intrepid Alpha 6 Live CD 32bit.
No software/configuration changes has been made exept the instalation of compiz
settings manager.
This system uses an ATI card.
The fix of unchecking Undirect Fullscreen Windows worked for me also.

yelp to display the Help-Contents file and I have no idea if a user

Actually synaptic downloaded ntp packages but the configuration remained in
manual mode.

Forgot to add the conclusion that is...
well yes it's still happening, and the difference in user time is quite big,
from 0.25 when only one image file in folder to seconds to 1.75 seconds when
more than 2000 files in folder.

While using openoffice i saw that when using bullets there is a grey area
around them so that I can see where all bullets are. That's fine.
The problem is that when I am not with the cursor over the bullets and I am
editing other parts

The problem is that Eye of GNOME 2.14.3 (i have this version but it applies on
other versions also) has this feature named Image Collection (View-Image
Colection or press F9).
This feature by default is
on my 1694wlmi i had to edit xorg.conf on liveCD but when i installed
from liveCD monitor was detected
but it seems that acpi now does not work very good(worse than dapper)...

i just installed the preview release.
it seems that the next/prev song works out of the box, the
stop/(play-pause) keys will pause the song but you can't make it play
again. the play/pause does not work correctly.
so in keyboard shortcuts i had to disable the Pause key and put the
play/pause key
