I have exactly same problem. http://localhost:8080/myApp works fine with Manual proxy configuration in Firefox, but with Use system proxy settings does NOT work. It seems that firefox is not using data from Ignore Host List from System-Preferences-NetworkProxy-AdvancedConfiguration.
