unfortunately was not aware about apport-collect when the issue was
reported. Surprisingly when retried today after your suggestion, I could
install on couple of times without any issue. Thanks. But I do see 13.10

Also noticed that it was showing Ubuntu 13.10 GNOME instead of
Tried one more time and endup with same result. Guest Operating system is
Ubuntu 13.10.
Assigned 2GB RAM for the vm, and 8 GB disk size.

Trying to install 64 bit desktop kubuntu 14.04 Alpha-2, iso downloaded
from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/trusty/alpha-2/
Installation is tried on a vm with Virtual Box.
As soon as the machine is started with iso, it has crashed with and even
automatic problem
The problem is reproducible consistently, atleast tried couple of times,
could not proceed with installation.

Am trying out the 14.04
Tried again, some times seen different errors after proceeding little a
head than what is reported during actual issue mentioned.
Later on tried without connecting to internet, then the installation is
complete.
Looks like the issue does not seemed to be consistently reproducible.
