[Bug 312321] Re: wacom bamboo tablet cursor freeze in 2.6.28 kernel
same thing here. i had to start using kernel 2.6.28-4 because of a broadcom issue with 2.6.27-11. I have to boot into an earlier kernel to use the wacom and not have wired ethernet working or boot into the newer kernel and the wacom tablet freeze. -- wacom bamboo tablet cursor freeze in 2.6.28 kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312321 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 326891] Re: 2.6.27.11 kernel breaks r8169 support for rtl8102e
I've have this same problem (Dell Inspiron 1501 w/ Broadcom cards) and I've been working on it for about two weeks now and last night I downloaded KernelChecker and got it to download and install the newest kernel (2.6.28-*) and as far as I know the problem is fixed. I've been scouring the forum for fixes to this problem and the best answer I could find was to just use the newest kernel. I don't want to put my foot in my mouth just yet and say that it totally fixed the problem, but *thus far* it has worked. -- 2.6.27.11 kernel breaks r8169 support for rtl8102e https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/326891 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 313866] Re: Ethernet fails with 2.6.27-11
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 (Broadcom NIC) and I've experienced the same problem. I'm going to re-installed 8.10 and update everything except the last kernal update until the bug has been fixed. The only problem is I do not remember exactly what the update was titled. I do remember it referring to the kernal and quite possibly 'kernal header', so if someone knows exactly please let me know. odi...@gmail.com -- Ethernet fails with 2.6.27-11 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/313866 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
