gnome-remote-desktop-45 is not compatible with mutter-46. All you need
to do is use a system with the NVIDIA driver, run g-r-d-45 with
mutter-46 and you either run into a black screen, or you might see an
initial frame but no updates (freezed screen).

attempting to start a remote desktop session, when the screen is locked.
In such case, g-s directly refuses the start request and therefore the lifetime
of the rdpgfx thread in FreeRDP is very short.

submitted a patch, which sufficiently fixed the issue in

should technically check for other aspects too), but for now it is sufficient.

I'm having similar issues on my Linux Mint 20.3. My onboard sound card
(detected as USB Audio) is now broken. The sound coming out is just
popping in and out and crackling. My Mainboard is the Z590 AORUS ULTRA.
According to the spec sheet, this board used the "Realtek® ALC4080
codec", whatever
Me (upstream g-r-d) already predicted this, as soon as I saw that Ubuntu
ships mixed versions (gnome-control-center-41 (g-c-c) for GNOME 42
(that's unsupported upstream and as seen here breaks things)).

With all recent versions of GCC on GNU/Linux systems like Ubuntu, when you use
the math library, you have to explicitly link to it.
I am currently using Xenial 16.04 and did a recompile of source package
libgphoto2. Then I got warnings fromdpkg-shlibdeps.
Can somebody please have a look at this? Booting an ISO and checking if
HTTPS works, or simply adding a certain deb package to the default
installer ISO shouldn't really be rocket science.
