[Bug 898830] [NEW] [regression] no connection with openconnect
Public bug reported: Since Oneiric it is no longer possible to connect to various servers In Comment 4 in Bug 881720 a developer explains the details (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openconnect/+bug/881720/comments/4) I'll paste them here again as this issue was not addressed in the other bug: --- dwmw2 (dwmw2) wrote on 2011-10-29: #4 pittipatti is correct. I'll elucidate... Long ago (commit 3bee59c in v2.26) we switched from using TLSv1 to SSLv3, because some servers (or their firewalls) seem to reject any connections with Hello extensions. In v3.11 (commit 4ad3d6c) we changed that again, because some servers also reject SSLv3 connections. Now we use TLSv1 but explicitly disable extensions. This should work everywhere. We have *also* made openconnect export this code as a proper shared library, so when things like that are updated it will automatically take effect in the auth-dialog too. Older versions (including v3.02) only exported a *static* library because we weren't quite ready to call the API "stable" at that point. What you need to do is update the openconnect package and make sure you're installing the shared library, and then make sure your network- manager-openconnect (and kde4-plasma-networkmanagement) packages are using the *shared* library for their authentication dialogs. -- So please update to a version >= 3.11 to make this package usable again. a new version of "openconnect" implies a new build of "network-manager- openconnect-gnome" against the new version of "openconnect" as well, since the auth-dialog[1] in this package gives https connection errors when build against v3.02 of openconnect. As far as I can see this seems to be a duplicate of bug 123920 anyway, and I'll mark it as one. Do you remeber if you had to peer your keyboard on the first boot with opensuse, e.g. enter a numeric key which was shown while booting? It would still be fine if you could append your output of lsusb. [Bug 200210] Re: no sound after suspend with snd_hda_intel since 2.6.24-7's alsa-update to 1.0.16
Dear Guys, bugs.launchpad.net is no user-support-forum. If you have questions or problems *please* use an adequate forum like e.g. https://answers.launchpad.net/ Your posts here get redirected to the developers who could spend more time on solving bugs, if they wouldn't have to handle lots of unrelated emails. It is in some kind comprehensible to ask here, after some of your keywords of your problem are mentioned here, even though the bug report was on the ALC262 chip and not on any other like ALC883. So, please stop this conversation here now and move to eg. https://answers.launchpad.net/ Thank you! -- no sound after suspend with snd_hda_intel since 2.6.24-7's alsa-update to 1.0.16 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 227429] Re: [hardy] Bluetooth Serial Port undiscoverable
I asked because I'm just seeing the same issue with my N95 8GB (FW: 20.0.0.16). Do you have the same firmware or (hopefully) an older one? Can you please test, if you can send files from the mobile to the hardy-system, after enabling "receive files from remote hosts" in the hardy-bluetooth-dialog? Besides of the bluetooth-console, this doesn't work either with my Nokia but it works with an older Siemens S55 or with another hardy-system. I think that these issues are related. [Bug 212790] Re: [hardy] several Fn-Keys stop working after loading kernel on Samsung Q45 laptop
No the keys don't produce acpi-events. Instead they produce scancodes that are not recognized by the userspace (see http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/quirk/quirk-keymap-scancodes.html) There are two possible solutions: 1. add some lines to the file "samsung.hk" of the package "hotkey-setup" but this seems to be deprecated 2. make the scancodes known using "hal" by adding them to hal-fdi-file "30-keymap-misc.fdi" which is already done upstream (21hour ago ;-) ) according to http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=hal-info.git;a=blob;f=fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-misc.fdi I think the second one would be the better solution, which might be integrated automatically with the next hal-info-merge. -- [hardy] several Fn-Keys stop working after loading kernel on Samsung Q45 laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212790 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
