[Bug 874734] Re: Alt-Backtick Keyboard Shortcut Can Not Be Disabled

2016-06-10 Thread prokher
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1113420 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1113420

Guys,

is there viable workaround? I am tired of dropping "Key to flip through
windows in the switcher" to some new value each time system restarts. I
use Guake console and bind it to "Alt+Grave" but this hotkey is acquired
by damn Switcher each time system restarts no matter how it is
configured. I mean, even when I explicitly set another hotkey to the
action "Key to flip through windows in the switcher" it binds
"Alt+Grave" after reboot. Since I use static application switcher it
would be fine to just disable this default unity switcher, but I can not
find how. This bug bothers me for several years already, please, give me
some workaround.

I do not think that it is a duplicate of bug #1113420, it looks like,
but it is not. Alt+grave can be reassigned. But it simply does not work.
This looks like the bug in the unity Switcher which simply ignores its
configuration settings at startup.

Frankly speaking, having workaround would be nice, cause this blocks
update of the system.

[Bug 708809] Re: The Automaximize windows in Unity value is too low

2011-06-11 Thread prokher
I also terribly tired of this automaximize feature how can I disable
this completely? I would like the closed application to be opened with
the exactly same size and in the same exactly position of the screen.
But this weird feature always maximize window if it was large enough.
Gentlemen, it was intentionally kept large enough but not maximized!
...annoying stuff...

[Bug 490744] Re: cerr crash in dlopen'ed c++ shared object, if linked to some libs

2010-06-03 Thread prokher
I thing

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libgomp.so.1

may help. Me and my colleagues feel that it is somehow connected to
thread pool management. It looks like If we preload libgomp then thread
pool management works on the level of main module, otherwise it works on
the dll level. Thus dlclose works before gomp finalize its pool of
threads. If we put sleep before dlclose - it works fine. Actually it is
only ideas without any basement...

[Bug 38692] Workaround.

2007-11-20 Thread prokher
I've found the workaround which works for me.
I run sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg, it completely rewrite
xorg.cong with default one.
After that configuration dialog works OK.
Probably it will help.
