[Bug 595265] Re: Can not add Facebook account as add button not displayed after authorisation.

2010-10-16 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
I am using 10.4 and Gwibber 2.30.2. Comment #19 also worked for me. I
used firefox, had facebook in one tab after choosing a username (I did
not need to logout and log back in with my new username), and just
logged in using my username in Gwibber. Note that the authorization
success screen (attached) is different when I used my username instead

With regards to the original problem, Unknown encoder 'libmp3lame'
also showed up on my system. However, after checking out the WinFF
website, learning that I needed libavcodec-extra-52 and installing it,
it worked fine.

I think that having libavcodec as a dependency will solve a lot of

[Bug 227183] Re: no calibration tool

2009-05-30 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
Just would like to pipe in that a Jaunty version of the driver has been
released by Penmount a couple of months back. However, on my Kohjinsha

[Bug 226741] Re: dont download the podcast and pictures for view offline in hardy

2009-03-08 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
Hi!

From the link Alex gave, there was no indication about pictures, only
audio. I think the original poster wanted to included pictures for
offline viewing. Seems like a feature request, and I second the motion.
I've long been wishing to have this feature. Updating my feeds at home,
reading them on the go only to re-read the articles I like at home to
see the pictures is a real pain the behind. Today, in the age of UMPCs

So where can we send in this feature request?

[Bug 192307] Re: japanese encoding is not displayed properly

2008-06-19 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
I am not sure I understand nor agree why this is not a bug.

If a file that I know can be displayed properly is opened and it
displays garbage because of it being opened with a wrong encoding, then
I think that needs to be resolved. If the grounds for marking this bug
as invalid is because it performs the same as other editors, then maybe
we should take a good review of the other editors as well.

Can you please explain to me why the encoding cannot be detected? I
understand that UTF-8 is like a standard and the sample.cpp file is
probably encoded with another less standard encoding. Is there no way to
detect the encoding except for manually selecting it?

Thanks.

I think this is a gnome bug and not a GIMP bug.
The reason I say this is because of the error message Could not find a

[Bug 81905] Re: [feisty] f-spot does not start

2008-02-17 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
This happened in Gutsy for me, out of the blue. I got the same error
message as the original reporter of the bug, and this was not due to an
upgrade. I have been using f-spot for quite a while and have four years'
worth of tag data. For my case, it was not an outdated db problem; it
was already sqlite 3.x for a long time. Further, sqlite couldn't open my
db file. I needed sqlite3. Opening the file, I find that I have nothing
left but the meta table (WT?!?!). Now I have 6564 photos that all need
to be retagged. This is a serious bug, or at least f-spot needs better
failure tolerance i.e. auto-backup/recovery/rollback.

I am using Feisty Fawn. I had removed most of the contents due to its

[Bug 186469] [NEW] Wengophone Constantly Hangs Up

2008-01-27 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wengophone

Very often, and quite reliably, Wengophone hangs after you hang up your
call. It doesn't happen during the first hang up. And sometimes, you can
get past by a few more. But plenty enough times, after hanging up on the
2nd or so call, Wengophone hangs up. It doesn't crash, the panel icon is
still right-clickable, but the main window begs for the close button to
be pressed, at which point Ubuntu offers to Force Quit the application.

Also, this also happens during failed calls e.g. pressing cancel, the
other party not answering. These cases also count toward that hang, but
not necessarily limited to it.

[Bug 128117] Re: Icons get mixed up in in non-Expanded panel

2007-07-25 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 111893 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111893

Whoops!

I tried searching for that bug (I really did), guess my keywords weren't
right.

In my defense, this is first bug I've reported. Hehe.:)

I guess I'll be watching the original bug report from now on, really
want to show off my cool (for a Linux amateur) Linux Box.

[Bug 128117] Icons get mixed up in in non-Expanded panel

2007-07-24 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

With the Expand setting turned off, after logging off and logging in,
the main panels (both top and bottom) start filling up with icons.
However, by the time it's finished doing so, the icons aren't where
they're supposed to be e.g. the clock appears on the left,
Applications/Places/Systems menu is on to the right, trash bin is at the
left, etc.

This may seem like a minor bug to many, but really, how are we going to
say Linux is cool if when we pimp our 'Nix boxes our icons get jumpled
up?

[Bug 77675] Re: apache2-ssl-certificate has gone missing in feisty

2007-04-30 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
Confirmed. Against all wise logic I SHOULD have had, I upgraded the
Dapper server I was maintaining at work to Edgy, then Feisty. And when I
was to re-certify it for WebDAV/SSL, command not found. If speeves'
patch won't work on me, I will be reinstalling Dapper, I just can't
spend too much time to fix this since it is an important server. I hope
the importance of this bug is escalated since I think that there
probably guys out there who need SSL for work, as well. I hope this is
fixed soon.

[Bug 77088] Re: Blender/X crash on extrude - region

2007-04-10 Thread punong_bisyonaryo
This also happens to me, I'm using Blender 2.42a binary build with a
non-hardware accelerated system. However, a few months back this was not
a problem. But I reformatted by installation, and now it crashes very
often. I only installed the blender from the Ubuntu repositories. I
haven't tried downloading the actual binaries manually.
