I'm also experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately, it's presenting
during unattended preseed installations, which makes is more difficult
to deal with.

install. Although in edgy it worked fine.

[Bug 93018] ath0 not initialized on system start

I have ubuntu 7.04 installed on an acer aspire 5100 series laptop with
an atheros wifi card built in. when the computer starts up the network
doesn't work and I have to manually do sudo /etc/init.d/networking
restart in order to get online. Not sure if it matters but my wireless
network is with a linksys wireless G router using WEP encryption.
