[Bug 1512010] [NEW] UI Becomes Unresponsive
Public bug reported: When starting up any torrent the UI for the application will become unresponsive for periods of time. Most of the time the UI will recover from this state, but no crash occurs and there is no trace I can provide at this time. Using the System Activity window to view ktorrents process list will occasionally show that one of the ktorrent process has entered a zombied state. I use KTorrent to seed some ISOs, but if I choose to download something new this issue can make it almost unusable. I'm willing to take any steps as directed to provide some useful information on this bug and will continue to work to track down the issue with maintainers/developers. ** Affects: ktorrent (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gui unresponsive -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1512010 Title: UI Becomes Unresponsive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ktorrent/+bug/1512010/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 194029] Re: 2.6.24-8 Introduces Network Issue
i also have this problem with a vanilla 2.6.24.3 self build kernel. The funny thing is, if you open the System Monitor-Resource view, the mouse is smooth, as soon you close the system monitor, synergy is more or less not usable anymore. The workaround running synergyc as root is also working here, thanks for the tip! I hope someone finds the real reason, or it is fixed in the kernel. -- 2.6.24-8 Introduces Network Issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/194029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
