Confirmed. This affects almost everyone who corrects the Ubuntu default
settings (96 DPI is a setting that is much too low for most modern
displays). My screen is 128 DPI and parts of software-center are
unreadable.

I still have this bug in Ubuntu 8.10 desktop amd64, albeit a little bit
different than in the description.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Burn (in my case, an ISO on a DVD+R). When finished, the tray ejects.
2. Swap medium.
3. Close the tray.
4. Click 'make another copy'. The tray ejects, loads again
Ok, I'm sorry, I was being mislead by ThinkWiki, that implied that I
only had to install thinkfinger-tools on Intrepid. After installing
libpam-thinkfinger and running the script everything went OK.

tf-tool manpage is misleading
I use CCSM and I have this problem too. Well, the menus and tooltips are not
invisible, they just hide behind everything else, including the active window.
Even my screensaver appears only in the background. I can still use the
application menu if I minimize all other windows, for example.

I expect gdesklets to work fine with python 2.5when hardy will be out.
Hardy Beta AMD64, python 2.5.2-0ubuntu1: gDesklets still shows empty window and
gdesklets-daemon often crashes.
