Sorry, I meant that you currently have Rhythmbox 3 on your system. So to
make it work in emesene you need to select the Rhythmbox 3 extension,
not the Rhythmbox extension which is for Rhythmbox 2.

You don't need a repository. Since you're using Ubuntu 12.04, you
already have what is called Rhythmbox 3 in the music plugin. I think
you're confused because the version number of Rhythmbox says
2.9something, which is apparently because it's not 3.0 enough yet.

This looks like an error in the overlay scrollbar.
The error you get from emesene means that there is already an instance
running which is logged in from the same account. You can prevent this
from happening by running emesene as emesene -s. Or just by using the
