Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Whenever there is any action involving my google calendar, Evolution
hangs for ~30 seconds, then continues normally. This includes clicking
on the calendar button or right clicking on the google calendar icon.
Deleting the calendar does not work.

May be related to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
panel/+bug/567262

tried:
Deleting the calendar from within evolution
evolution --offline, tried deleting from within evolution
rm -r ~/.evolution
deleting the google calendar from gconf2-editor /apps/evolution/calendar # This
finally removed the calendar, but clicking on the calendar button after
starting up Evolution resulting in the same ~30 second freezing
sudo apt-get reinstall evolution
sudo apt-get remove evolution; sudo apt-get install evolution
sudo apt-get purge evolution; sudo apt-get install evolution
gconf-tool --recursive-unset /apps/evolution/calendar

[Bug 154104] Re: glxinfo: 'Direct rendering: no' on 915GM video chipset on Gutsy

2007-11-01 Thread Sumant Oemrawsingh
Did you try to remove xserver-xorg-xgl? Whereas Feisty needed that,
Gutsy doesn't anymore, and xserver-xorg-video-intel is all that is
needed (for intel video cards of course).
