[Bug 174756] Re: Inspiron 1420: Intel GM965 s-video TV-out shows wrong colors on Ubuntu 7.10
Hi, the color problem have been solved of mini-PC, what I did is: - 1. Get the latest intel GM965 driver source code xf86-video-intel from: http://intellinuxgraphics.org/download.html 2. modify RGB parameters in i830_tv.c 3. Build and install the latest driver according to: http://intellinuxgraphics.org/install.html Than it works, and the color can accord with your requirement. -- Inspiron 1420: Intel GM965 s-video TV-out shows wrong colors on Ubuntu 7.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174756 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 174756] Re: Inspiron 1420: Intel GM965 s-video TV-out shows wrong colors on Ubuntu 7.10
I have a aopen MP965DR miniPC, I've update the xserver-xorg-video-intel to the latest, then it can show on the TV through s-video, but the color is also seem too bright, indeed I think it not bright, it seems some color have lost(I try to set the depth to 24 in xorg.conf, but still not work). But when I change the driver to vesa, the color problem is solved, but I can't set the size of the output screen.
