Is this supposed to be fixed in edgy now? I started running edgy about 5 weeks
ago and have kept it updated since then. But edgy is still not seeing my ide
cdrom drive.

The computer delays booting for a while during the time that these
messages are displayed.
I have a core 2 duo cpu and intel DP965LT motherboard.
8:00 am usa eastern time, sept 23. I downloaded the current daily build:

I tried to install in text mode, but I still get the problem:
No common CD-ROM drive was detected. I have a new intel
This will be fixed for Edgy, but there are no guarantees it will be
fixed tomorrow, today or for three days. Edgy has a roadmap, it's still
under development and it's quite normal for system to be non-functional
while under development.
