Downgrading to xserver-xorg-video-ati_6.6.3-2_powerpc.deb _does_ get things (i.e. X) working again on the emac. I'm having the same problem on a mac mini G4. I tried adding Options MacModel mini, and downgradig to xserver-xorg-video-ati_6.6.3-2_powerpc.deb without any luck. Please file separate bugs for mac mini issues. The mac mini should be automatically detected (and use correct ConnectorTable) in the newest driver. I built the driver from upstream, but with similar results - still a blank screen.
