Yes, the bug is reproducible when I run "Gnome on Xorg".
Running Gnome on Wayland this bug does not happen.
Please follow these steps (Xorg-session):
1. Open "Software and Updates"
2. Klick "Other Software"
3. Klick "Canonical Partners"
4. Instead of being asked for the password nothing happens.
