[Bug 1770919] Re: use_tempaddr is reset to 0, despite /etc/sysctl.d
As you noted, networkd controls the per-interface setting for this, for interfaces under the control of networkd; so it's working as designed. ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770919 Title: use_tempaddr is reset to 0, despite /etc/sysctl.d To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1770919/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1770919] Re: use_tempaddr is reset to 0, despite /etc/sysctl.d
systemd-networkd resets the value as per `systemd.network(5)`: 'IPv6PrivacyExtensions= [...] When "kernel", the kernel's default setting will be left in place. Defaults to "no".' This will be fixed with https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netplan.io/+bug/1750392 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770919 Title: use_tempaddr is reset to 0, despite /etc/sysctl.d To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1770919/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
