With Debian having rejected this change, I don't think in this case it
makes sense for Ubuntu to carry a delta for this either, so I'm marking
this bug Won't Fix to make it clear that we don't intend to make this
change in Ubuntu.

I've filed a separate bug against rpcbind (LP:1873166) to see whether
check_rpc could be split into its own package.
If that were to happen, then
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
