Hi Daniel, Please make sure to install the debug symbols for xserver and -ati when creating backtraces. Also make sure to do 'backtrace full' so it includes calling parameters and local variables. The debug symbols did not appear to be in the Ubuntu packages, and bt full is indeed what produced the above output. I used the directions on that page. They're named similarly but have -dbg appended to them. You should be able to find them in Synaptic. I think you may be right with the pulseaudio thing. What do you see in /var/log/messages after a freeze? Like I said, the only clue is the messages that appear at the end of the Xorg.0.log file. I disabled PulseAudio completely, and that didn't fix it.
