have exact same problem under Ubuntu 8.10 I'm using XSane 0.995 to scan a document and save it under the standard format out.pnm trying to open this document with eye of gnome (eog) 2.24.1 gives error message: PNM loader expected to find an integer, but didn't the pnm format is
