Confirmed fixed on my box using the proposed updates channel. 2green did you enable proposed updates in the software update tool? Hmm no, this bug seems quite different to bug 981703. Also, this bug only seems to occur with Unity (4 5, 11.10 12.04). I can't reproduce this bug with upstream compiz-core or in Gnome Classic (with compiz).
