Ah, I see Alberto. I've narrowed down the problem down to two lines in the Ambiance theme. If lines 66 and 68 in /usr/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-3.0/gtk-widgets.css are deleted, the columns are perfectly stable. The two lines are: -unico-focus-border-color: alpha (@selected_bg_color, 0.5);
