On my system the error is triggered by Transmission's BitTorrent seeding activity or relocating already downloaded data. Idle requests to /etc/hosts and ~/.config/transmission/resume/* do not trigger the bug. I'm not aware of any applications other than Transmission that trigger this bug. --

The ways to reproduce it I've found so far are: 1) Download a torrent contents in Transmission. The bug is probably observable during downloading. OR 2) Relocate data to another partition by right-clicking on the torrent in Transmission main window and selecting the new location. The bug is
