I have this issue, on an up-to-date Hardy distribution. When waking from suspend, the netstatus icon shows no activity when using the network. The only way to fix it is to go into properties, select a different interface, then re-select the original one, and it works. This happens intermittently on my Acer with Atheros with Feisty. The wireless will be working after waking from suspend, but no activity shown. The received and sent counts are frozen.
