Fixed by removing the icon. It never worked anyway, IIRC it was meant to
show your current wallpaper.

show desktop icon in
only what is default in Ubuntu concerns the design team. This icon is
supposed to be make into a simple application that can be dragged from
the dash. When that happens, the icon will probably be the first thing
noticed by Design team ;-)
