Thanks for the reminder about this long-forgotten bug. I don't know if
anyone else is interested in this, but I see that I didn't follow up
correctly before. At this point I have no further interest in this bug.
At the time I filed it, I was running Edgy on a fairly ancient laptop.

No, this isn't a duplicate, although on rereading this bug, I can see
that I wasn't very clear. This is basically a complaint that the search
bar is different from what I would expect. I'd find a search bar that
searched for menu entries easier than a beagle search bar--especially
since I don't
OK. I'm still not sure about what it should be, so it would be great if
you can file it on the upstream bug tracker yourself.
And thanks for reporting this and helping improve Ubuntu.
