Ubuntu 12.04 Precise with ppa:unity-team/sru
Issue: Launcher not visible even after setting hide-mode to 0. Was visible
after a logout-login.
See screenshot - it shows terminal window open with hide-mode set to 0 and
still no launcher visible on screen
Action:
- Set hide mode to 1 (gsettings set com.canonical.Unity2d.Launcher hide-mode 1 )
- kill both unity-2d-shell and unity-2d-spread
- Start only the shell
- Set hide mode to 0
