/usr/share/linux-restricted-
modules/2.6.22-11-generic/modules.alias.override/nvidia does have that
PCI ID now, so it either got fixed since then, or the envy scripts
messed something up. Sorry, we cannot support third-party scripts.

The output from `lspci -n | grep 0300` is:
01:00.0 0300: 10de:01d8 (rev a1)
nb this is with the NVidia driver installed via envy
Will that make a difference?

Ron:
All that means is that if you experience any problems after installing the envy
drivers you will be unable to report them here and will instead have to report
them to the author of envy so it can be confirmed that it is not the envy
drivers causing the issue.
Your card is apparently
stephans:
Could you please add the output of running the command
lspci -n | grep 0300
to this bug report?

I believe I have been seeing the same bug, the restricted driver manager
did not show the NVidia drivers as an option following the installation
of Ubuntu 7.04 AMD64 on my laptop.
I had previously had the 32-bit version installed (nb fresh install,
partition formatted) and the driver did show up
In addition to my previous comment, I forgot to mention that my graphics card
is a Nvidia GeForce Go 7400, rather than a 7300 GS.
