Libreoffice 5.1.4.2, Xubuntu 16.04. Hi. I've experienced font distortions all the time when editing within the new Libreoffice. The distortions go away with redraw by Ctrl+L or Shift+Ctrl+R . That's extremely annoying, never had that before. Now I found a solution: Tools / Options / View Section: Graphics Output --> Activate "Use OpenGL for all rendering --> Activate "Force OpenGL even if blacklisted (on restart) This cures the problem, for me at least!
