seen in dmesg on both Sandy Bridge iGPUs (i7-2600) and Ivy Bridge
(i7-3770). The motherboards used are Asus P8H67M Pro and P8H77M Pro

Using v3.7-rc2-raring Kernel yields:

Blacklisting the i915 module is a workaround for those not needing the
iGPU to do anything more than console.
