Public bug reported:

Hi, I have upgraded from Lubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) and cannot
start Pidgin in Lubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) now. Is this a GNOME
Keyring bug and do I have to configure the gnome-keyring? Could
debugging symbols for debugging Pidgin help?

Terminal output:
WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to:
/run/user/USERNAME/keyring-7qWzy3/pkcs11: Filen eller katalogen finns inte
The program 'Pidgin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'GLXBadContext'.
  (Details: serial 48 error_code 169 request_code 153 minor_code 6)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
