Hi, sorry about not having the time to go through all the testing at the
time.
Nor I am using Raring, and the problem persist. Just thought I would let
you know.
The funny thing is that I never had this problem with Linux Mint:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/info/kernel-version-map.html the
last known bad Ubuntu kernel 3.2.0-32.51 is based on mainline 3.2.30.
The last known good mainline kernel is v3.4.
So, the next step is to perform a reverse mainl
