I can confirm this is still an issue in Lubuntu 16.04 (64 bit.)
Attempting to install using Synaptic gave me, for the most part, the
same error message as above. Packaging Fenix for 64 bit would be

Looks like this bug unfortunatly has existed for quite some time. I
found bug 484089 a while ago describing the same issue,
