Re-installing the following packages from synaptic package manager might
solve the issue. Worked for me. Had a similar issue and solved by re-
installing and reboot.
fuse (2.8.6-2ubuntu2)
gnome-disk-utility (3.0.2-2ubuntu7)
growisofs (7.1-10)
gvfs (1.12.1-0ubuntu1.1)
gvfs-bin (1.12.1-0ubuntu1.1)
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
