If your pc's architecture support 64 bit it is surely preferable the 64bit
version, elsewhere if you're in doubt, 32 bit is recomended.

I doubt everybody visiting the download page knows what his/her computer
supports. It's also strange to recommend 32 bit without any knowledge of
the hardware it's going to be installed on, isn't it?
