Public bug reported: If the machine doesn't have battery devices, then indicator-power will not show the status of a UPS. Which is why UPower being broken with usb-interfaced UPS has gone unnoticed for 6 mos (cross-reference bug #1091702).
The attached patch will allow a UPS to show as the primary device if there are no batteries. ** Affects: indicator-power (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "Show-UPS-state.patch" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1093942/+attachment/3468632/+files/0001-Show-UPS-state.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1093942 Title: indicator-power doesn't show status of UPS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-power/+bug/1093942/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
